It may seem like a lot of Neoprene for the small amount that is needed in each camera but I have already gone through about a Foot of it. These motors seem to be built very well. They are heavy duty. Of course, you get what you pay for and these motors are not cheap. I'd rather have high quality and pay more. That's what you get with these Baldor motors. This is my second one and I'm happy with it. It pulls about 350 watts for what I'm using it for. I learned that you need to run very thick wires in order for these motors to run optimally. I think I'm using 4 gauge wire right now and it works well. To reverse the motor all you do is change the leads. Hope this helps anybody else looking to buy a good 12v motor.
