This Martin roller chain sprocket has a 44.45-millimeter pitch, fits size 28B chains, and is single strand with one set of teeth around its circumference for use with single strand chains. It is a Type C sprocket with hub projections encircling the bore on both sides, and both the hub and bore have tapering grooves for inserting and locking into place a taper bushing that fits the diameter of the shaft. A roller chain sprocket is a thin wheel with deep, uniformly spaced teeth ringing its circumference.
