I was very happy with this item. It did everything I was hoping for including oil immersion. I bought this for grandchildren to use for science fair projects. It was much better than the student microscopes I had looked at in the past. It is very similar to one that we have in the lab I work at. I feel that I could not have gotten a better microscope for the money.
