The Sandusky Lee MLS5236-07 welded steel mobile laptop security cabinet has a frame made of 18 gauge steel and seven shelves made of 22 gauge steel for strength and to resist denting, two doors with a locking handle on the front, and two doors with a lock on the back, and is suited for securely storing and transporting laptops, cables, and power supplies. The front doors are secured with a recessed locking handle made of chrome to resist corrosion and with a three-point locking system for security. The back doors are secured with a lock made of chrome to resist corrosion and with a three-point locking system for security. The locking handle and chrome lock use the same key; two keys are included. All the doors open 180 degrees to facilitate access to the cabinet's contents. The front doors and sides are perforated for air circulation. The bottom surface of this safety cabinet can be used as an eighth shelf. The cabinet has a space behind the shelves that measures approximately 6-1/2" and it has grommets in the lower back wall of the cabinet to help enable cable management. This mobile laptop security cabinet has four 5" swivel casters with locking brakes on two of the casters for maneuverability and safe handling. The casters are made of polypropylene to resist high temperatures, corrosion, and wear. The cabinet has a powder coat finish to resist dirt, chipping, and corrosion, and is typically used for storage and transportation applications in Information Technology (IT) departments, offices, and commercial environments, among others.
