I bought two of these, one for in front of the sink/counter area and one for in front of the stove. They are awesome and cushy. I cook in my bare feet all of the time, and these guys save my feet and knees from a world of pain. The mats are easy to clean; wet spills don't absorb, and dry spills sweep off easily. As an added bonus my cats are uninterested in them. I attribute this to the vinyl, but am thankful b/c they don't tend to lay on it like the other kitchen mats I have purchased.
