I have had the opportunity to use two of these hose reels. The first one is in our shop and has performed superbly for the last two years-excellent! The second is on a shop rig, and seems to have slowed a bit due to being in the weather (a little oxidized as well), but it still works well. I would rate this reel as a 9.0 on the scale, I definitely would buy another.

The Praying Mantis is a symbol of cunning and power in Japanese culture and is consequently a highly respected theme in Samurai swords. Built on our new L6/Bainite blade in the Shobu Zukuri style with Bo-Hi, and featuring superb koshirae, the Praying Mantis is a very desirable and functional piece. The subdued green silk ito and deep brown of the lacquered saya provide handsome contrast to the dark copper and golden accents of the tsuba, fuchi and kashira. The stalking mantis lies in wait for his next prey, mirroring the power and grace in this exceptional katana.

CAS Hanwei Praying Mantis Review

This is a beautiful and well made Katana. I am not any sort of historical collector but I do own several Katanas and this is one of the nicer ones that I own. First, this Katana is made from L6 Banite. This is an exceptionally strong yet flexible form of steel. L6 Katanas are virtually indestructible. However, L6 Katanas do not have a Hada. This is the grain seen on folded steel Katanas. If you are looking for a Hada then this is not the sword for you. With that said the furnishings on this Katana are first rate. The tsuka ito (handle wrapping) is a beautiful green and the saya (scabbard) is a very rich dark chocolate brown. The Tsuba (hand guard) is a copper mix with Praying Mantis artwork. This is very cool. One thing to note is that unlike the pictures you will see on the web, the tsuba is pristine not weathered. It will take a while for your tsuba to wear like that. Overall, this is a very nice Katana.

As far as CAS Hanwei goes, I have a number of their blades and they are all beautiful and functional. Recently, I had an issue with one of their blades and they exceeded my expectations in resolving the issue. CAS Hanwei sells great hand made swords and stands behind their products. You can't go wrong.

Clear Blue Digi 2.0 LED High Power Curing Light Review

Since 1980 I have owned halogen lights for curing composites. I tried the newer LED lights several years ago, spending roughly $1000 for a Demetron cordless LED light. The thing never worked right and I had to continue to use my corded Demetron halogen unit for years. When I finally decided to "cut the cord" again, there was no way that I was paying that much. I saw some reviews on the internet re: this unit and I purchased it... It works! I have just ordered two extra tips for a total of $100. In time, I guess that I will need to replace the battery, but I hear that while that order is being fulfilled, I can use the cord from the charger to directly plug into the unit. It seems to have different modes, but that doesn't really interest me. I just want something that is handy and works. So far, this one is doing the trick. If it lasts a few years (4?), I would repurchase it. The manufacturer says to autoclave the tips. So far, I have just been using cavicide to disinfect. The clear tip seems to be coated with a rubbery substance. the new ones I ordered are black with a clear end. I did like the glass finish on the Demetron tips better. I may begin to autoclave the tips. I just don't know how to measure the degradation. That is why I have not up until now.

Panasonic EY6506NQKW 12-Volt NiMH Cordless Impact Driver Review

Big fan of panasonic cordless tools.. this is my 3rd. I was having a problem countersinking big screws into hardwood or cement board so based on some advice picked up this tool.. It took over where my very powerful 15.6 left off.. taking 3" screws that were stripped and wouldn't go in and countersinking them no problemo... the impact nature makes it less likely to break screws like the 15.6 does occasionally... I actually put a 3" screw about 1" countersunk into a FIR stud just testing out the capabilities. Quite literally it will keep driving most screws 'til you let go of the trigger, so better use a dimple bit on softer material.caveat: i had a few minutes of buyers remorse when i first used it as it is QUITE loud.. make no mistake when this is working your house is 'under construction'.. however you do get quite used to it, it's definiately worse as a bystander. I would rate it 4 1/2 stars for the one major problem: non standard chuck... argh on panasonic.. why why why? the solution to fix it is to put a slug of 1/4 hex cut off an old bit shank into the chuck or perhaps a couple #4 hex nuts (if that's what is 1/4"). .makes for easier removal if necessary... anyhow they did it so the double-headed bit that comes with fits nicer but makes NORMAL quick bits jam... and i have yet to find any bits whatsover including from panasonic that match the groove for the double headed quick bit that comes with.The charger that comes with is awesome because it works up to 18V batts... i can bring one charger and all my tools someplace and can charge my drill, my impact or my saw no need for 3 chargers. Until the torque load gets high enough it operates just like a drill, so small bits and small screws work great just like your drill and pretty much silent. I'm thrilled with the driver it's possibly my favorite tool.. too bad it needs a hack to fix it, but with the fix it's flawless. Very nice to have the continuous amperage and wire feed.
This welder is a complete starter package.It is very small and exquisite.
The Model #10250 is about 1/3 of the cost of most other manufacturer's spool guns.
This little guy does all I need it to and more. It is really an excellent choice for welders that have engine drivers or those that weld aluminum in the shop connected to a MIG os Stock machine.
It has a lot of power and overloaded my 220 amp circuit.
I reccomend 36 Volt Battery with a good extension cord for heavier metals.
Wire Speeds of 50 Inches to 900 Inches per Minute.
Mind you I only tripped the breaker once and have welded a lot with this welder.
