I bought 2 of these for my home workshop after bein dissatisfied with the Craftsman/Sports Authority/Big Box store types. The difference is like night and day. The padded section is much thicker than what you get in stores. You can get even thicker ones. It truly is non-skid. You have to pick it up to move it once it's properly installed. The finish seems much more durable and shop-friendly than the big box store types. Dirt and fluids literally get bruhed off or Shop-Vaced up. I stand for hours on end, so having a good mat is important. Liked it enough that I ordered a custom 4' x 6' piece for a different section of my garage.

Grizzly G5963 30 by 60-Inch Lathe Review

This is a nice, sturdy, little surface grinder for the home shop machinist, or machine shop that needs an economical surface grinder.
With the magnetic chuck added, and freight costs, the whole setup cost about $2000.
Not bad for a new surface grinder.
It was shipped via UPS Freight.
Remember to request "LIFT-GATE DELIVERY" if you are having this shipped to your home. It will be delivered with an 18 wheeler.
The driver will lower it, and move it with a pallet-jack for you, but that's it.
You will need an engine hoist to place the grinder on top of the stand.
IT IS HEAVY (600 Lbs.).
There is a 50Lb. counterweight that sits in the column, and is attached to the grinder motor-mount by a 3mm cable.
When I unpacked my grinder, this cable was broken. But Grizzly sent a new one, and the repair was simple.
Grizzly customer service was excellent.
The table rests by gravity on one vee way, and one flat way.
The only drawback is that the grinder is "Left-Handed", whereas the downfeed, and infeed are on the left hand side and table traverse is on the right.
This is completely opposite of most standard surface grinders.
It's not a big deal to overcome, but a bit awkward at first.
First I ground the magnet flat, (it was only .0015 out), then ground a test piece of heat-treated A2 Tool Steel.
The finish was excellent. Overall flatness and parallelism was within .0002.
You may want to order a quality NORTON grinding wheel like I did. I didn't like the looks (or trust) the cheapie Chicom wheel that came with it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this grinder to any small-scale machining outfit. It was well worth the money.

Ok, let's be honest. These guys have a bit of a problem with measurement. The OD that they actually sent me was 1.75. ID is 1.25. So the caps that I ordered separately will not fit when they arrive. Also, it was sold as a 1' length, of which it is actually 11-15/16" if one is generous (rough cut, mostly approx 11-29/32").

Fortunately for me the pipe itself is the critical piece and the wider diameter is actually better for my purposes than what I ordered. The quality of the material is pretty good. Very clear plastic. But, the ends are cut rather poorly. Maybe I'm being picky, but I'd expect a rough cut to be slightly in excess of the dimension called out in case any trimming is needed.

I ordered this angle iron for an outdoor application, expecting 316 stainless steel to be corrosion resistant and rust-free. Not so, it will rust if it gets wet. I asked the seller about it, and they said stainless steel rusts -- news to me. 316 is supposed to be one of the more rust resistant grades. So if you do use it outdoors or in damp environments, you'll need to paint it.

It ships in a sturdy heavy duty cardboard tube, so the two times I ordered it arrived well-packed in perfect condition.
