With PRO's Micro-Homogenizing Package, Deluxe Version, which includes the Bio-Gen PRO200 hand-held homogenizer and two PRO Quick Connect Generators (5 x 75mm and 7 x 75mm), volumes as small as 0.03 ml can be mechanically homogenized in a matter of seconds. Whether gently mixing, extracting RNA/DNA or destroying the cell wall, this package can effectively and efficiently process your sample. This setup is ideal for processing in 0.5ml, 1.5ml, 2ml or 5ml tubes. The Bio-Gen PRO200 homogenizer is a hand-held 144 watt homogenizer with variable speed from 5,000 to 35,000 rpm. A separate ON/OFF switch conveniently allows for the slide switch speed control to remain at your ideal homogenizing speed. The two PRO Quick Connect Generators included in the Deluxe Version of the Micro-Homogenizing Package are a flat bottom 5 x 75mm and a saw tooth 7 x 75mm generator. The saw tooth design makes the 7mm generator ideal for processing tougher samples. PRO Quick Connect Generators are manufactured out of 316 stainless steel for the utmost in chemical compatibility. They are precision crafted with a very narrow clearance between the inner rotating shaft and outer tube/chamber, which allows for quick, effective and repetitive processing, meaning you will get the results you want each and every time. PRO Quick Connect Generators are designed to be anti-foaming in design and are very easy to take apart and clean between samples, a simple unscrewing of the top set screw allows for disassembly. Grizzly G1066Z Drum Sander, 24-Inch Review

I purchased this drum sander a year ago. After using it sparingly for 6 months the motor broke down. The president of Grizzly advertises in his catalog that they give their customers "Exemplary Service" and if a tool breaks down "It gets fixed fast". You be the judge:

I called Grizzly and then spent the better part of three days working on the motor as I was being coached on the phone by one of their techs. Finally it was determined that the motor was defective. It was 14 days before the new motor arrived. But Grizzly sent the wrong motor that turned the drums in the wrong direction. It took 5 more days for the tech to determine that the motor could not be reversed. The second replacement motor took another 16 days to arrive. The pulley was damaged so I had to wait another week for a replacement. By the time the sander was up and running again a total of 6 weeks had elapsed.

So what do you think, "Exemplary" and "It gets fixed fast"?

The new motor was in the machine less than 2 weeks and it too broke down. In frustration I tried to get Grizzly to just take back the machine. Their customer service department said there was no chance of that happening.

The bottom line is that the people at Grizzly are quite content to see let their customers try to fix their machinery indefinately. While they don't seem to feel obligated to live up to their claims of great service.

I would give Grizzly 0 stars if it was possible. I also have a Grizzly table saw and a thickness planer that I am selling. I can't afford to have one of them break down and have to go through something like this again.

My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing any piece of Grizzly machinery is: unless you have the patience of a Buddhist Monk or a back up tool, DON'T DO IT.
