Pro's: 1. Comes with accessories for which most suppliers charge extra. 2. Many functions. 3. Controls have good feel and are easy to read 4. High frequency works well with smooth stable arc. 5. The machine is nicely designed and turned-out. 6. Priced right. 7. Dual voltage.

Con's: 1. Zero instructions on use and set-up. 2. Longevity customer support is non-responsive. 3. Unable to register the machine with Longevity (apparently if you do not buy directly from them you can not register the machine). 4. Lift-start function is very difficult to use.

Comments: Not really suitable for the hobbiest with no tig welding experience, but this is a nice light duty machine for an experience tig welder. I have been mig welding & stick welding for many years, but this is my first attempt at tig welding. The lack of instructions make the set-up and use basically trial and error. When I purchased my Lincolns many years ago, the both came with detailed printed instructions and instructional DVD.

Conclusion: I would purchase the machine again, but I am not sure that I would recommend it to a friend.

My first purchase of this inovative product. I found it easy to set up on my standing seam metal roof and felt very safe using it. The peak of my house is a 5/12 pitch and 35 feet off the ground, I was able to hang over the edge and clean the facia flashing. I also used it to clean my chimmney on the same pitch roof.
If anyone uses this Grappling Clamp I'm sure they will feel safe on any roof. Well worth the price.

Ok, so this cabinet gets 4 to 5 stars all the time and I gave it three and I will state why.

First the good!! This thing is huge, my wife loves it. It has ample storage and nice to see them update it and make a storage spot for the cricut. The included CD is a bonus as you can watch someone put it together that works for Scrapbox. I have put together alot of furniture over the years and its nice to see someone show how to organize and build it in sequence.

Ok, the bad or what my wife and I found we didn't care for. We will start with the small stuff you can live with then move to quality control items.

First off the casters on the center section don't lock and roll very easy. This is great when you want to move it, but we find when you open and close it the cabinet moves all over and bangs up against the wall. The table legs are very hard to open and close. So hard we just leave the table open as to not damage the cabinet closing them as we almost have before so this means we don't close the cabinet.

And now the quality issue. I didn't like how the dividers are mounted in. Wood dowel pins in the top and wood screws in the bottom. The dowels are great but here is the problem I ran into. Even when using the provided spacer so each divider was dead center over the hole, the screws still split the dividers at the bottom. All the dividers split but one. To fix this they should have used shorter screws and or drill a small guide or starter hole. They other thing and final item I noticed, was when I was putting the door panels on, that the bottom dowel holes where drilled in the wrong location. The holes are at the bottem of the base board when they should have been at the top. Both doors where this way. We where missing 4 shelves and my wife said she would contact scrapbox and get that taken care of.

I am in no way saying don't buy this cabinet if your thinking about it. Its a great scrapbooking cabinet and does what it was designed to. I built it in around 5 hours from unboxing, checking all the parts, and putting in all the pouches and storage containers. If you buy this cabinet, I would recomend not using the supplied wood screws for the dividers and using a screw that is around 1/2 inch shorter and if you have a cordless drill handy drill a starter hole before you screw in the dividers and it should keep them from splitting at the bottom.

We both agree that this is a great product but we felt a little let down on certain issues cause we always feel you get what you pay for and this was not cheap and should have no issues on assembly what so ever.

Update our review moved it to 4 stars. They had contacted me after they seen my review and replaced all the boards that split on assembly and also told us they had revised the screws included with the hardware packets so this will not happen to others. Top notch they contacted me before I even tried to contact them!!

Radiation Alert Digilert 200 Handheld Digital Radiation Detector with LCD Display Review

This is a good overall survey meter. It has a "hot dog" style detector and though it isn't as sensitive as the "pancake" style detector of it's older brother (The Inspector USB. And what is the fascination with naming radiation detectors after food?), that could be a non-issue depending on how you're using it. If you're looking for a general survey meter for taking background readings and checking for surface contamination, then this is a great detector. If your interested in testing your food for possible contamination, then you should really be using some type of scintillation type detector, as they are MUCH more sensitive than the GM tubes. If the higher price of the scintillation type units are unaffordable, then going with something like The Inspector USB would be a better alternative.

That being said, this a good meter for "hunting" and is more rugged than the large 2 inch end window GM style radiation detectors. It has internal memory and can be used with the Observer USB software that you get for free after registering the unit with the manufacturer. Also, there's a handy little QR Code on the back label that made it easy to download the operation manual to my phone (nice!).

Grizzly G0701 Ultimate Bandsaw, 19-Inch Review

This saw has great online reviews, so I gave it 5 stars, but it has not arrived yet. I had to order it directly from Grizzly since Amazon was unable to fulfill the order. If I had to guess, early on in their relationship with Grizzly they offered free shipping, and now they do not want to honor this, so will keep delaying the order until the customer cancels. I was on my third delay, this time pushing the deliver out another month or so. This is despite the fact that the item is in stock at Grizzly, ships straight from them, and I live about an hour away.

Amazon customer service is terrible, and I was unable to get any help from them, either at the first level, or the managers level. All they could do was say they would look into it and get back to me, which they never did. After many hours on the phone on 3 different occasions, I figured the $200 extra in shipping was a small price to pay to get it delivered in 3 to 5 days.

The grade F13 gray pressed wool felt sheet meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standards and is a soft fabric commonly used for sound deadening, spacing, and dust shielding. The grade F13 is made of minimum 75% wool, which provides better insulating properties and a greater ability to absorb and retain water, oils, and other liquids than felt with lower wool content. Its density helps provide some resistance to abrasion and wear. The sheet is rated for use in temperatures ranging from -80 to +200 degrees F.

Felt is a fabric made from interlocking organic or synthetic fibers. It is often made of wool because of the fiber’s ability to absorb and retain moisture and to provide thermal insulation, but it can also be made of synthetic materials such as polypropylene and polyester. Pressed felt is produced by wetting and agitating wool to form connecting fibers. Needled felt is produced by a dry process of vertically needling fibers together and is typically used for synthetic materials. The higher the tensile strength, the more the felt is able to resist stress and deformation. Firmness is measured by pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection.

I presently brought a few of these sheets to pad areas of my sound room. The sheets aren't huge they are only about a 12 inch square but they helped me finish the corner of my room off nicely. What I appreciate the most is the thickness of it which makes it a little difficult to cut into if you don't have a good pair of scissors. I like the fact that you can still get a good quality fabric like this for a decent price.
