I've had my Printrbot Plus for 7 months now and absolutely love it. Watching something come from CAD files (gcode is final file format used to print) to real life is an amazing and fun feeling. And the Printrbot Plus has as big a print volume area as just about any other 3D printer available and they are FAR less expensive.

I've been so impressed by Printrbot as they continue to grow. Some people feel their customer service needs improvement but I've experienced great service and have been helped quickly several times. They recently hired a full time customer support guy and it shows. So take any negative experience people share with a grain of salt because Printrbot keeps getting better. They continued to innovate and improve their products, unlike some printer companies that seem to be happy finding one good model and sticking to it. The Simple and Jr by Printrbot are also highly recommended. It's great that they are all on Amazon now!

While $999 (retail price) is not "cheap" by any means, it is far less than other companies. Printrbot is a brand you can trust, and their filaments are awesome as well. If you're confused by all the options out there, my personal experience has been good enough to recommend Printrbot to many people already.
