Don't waste your money on the foot pedal option. Ours broke after the first day of use. Shipping was a pain as ours came damaged the first time and had to get shipped back, but customer service was great about getting a new one shipped out. That being said it does actually strip wire. We stripped enough wire the first two hours to actually pay for the machine ( thought that was just a sales gimmick but was actually true) and were were paid a premium price for the "bright #1" grade of copper since there was no longer the jacket. We stripped #10 solid and stranded all the way up to 600mcm. Larger wire requires some adjustment but worked great overall. Very impressed with this little machine, and when I say little I mean little. It looks huge in the pics but its actually pretty small and easy to stow away in the shop when we're not using it.

The Mitutoyo 573 series point jaw digital caliper has narrow tipped jaws to fit into grooves and tracks and uses Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE linear encoder technology. This caliper has accessible function control buttons, such as Origin-set, Zero-setting, Power On/Off, and Data Output, and uses the metric measuring system.

This caliper series has the ABSOLUTE electrostatic capacitance type linear encoder to help reduce overspeed errors. It measures outer diameter (OD), inner diameter (ID), depth, and step, where the butt end of the fixed jaw measures one end of a work piece before its upper/lower or inner/outer "steps" are measured. With its narrow tip jaws, the caliper can reach into hard to access grooves and indentations. LCD resolution is 0.01mm. Functions include origin-setting, zero-setting, and on/off automatic shutoff. An alarm alerts the user to low voltage and counting value composition errors. A rolling thumbwheel makes fine adjustments and a thumbscrew locks the scale’s position. Response speed is unlimited. The caliper has Statistical Process Control (SPC) data output capability; it outputs data using a serial data interface to a computer or other dedicated recording device using SPC cable with data switch (sold separately). The caliper includes, and is powered by, a single SR44 silver oxide cell battery that lasts approximately 3.5 years with normal use.

Calipers measure the distance between two opposing sides of an object. They make inside, outside, depth, or step measurements, according to their type. Calipers are commonly used in architecture, metalworking, mechanical engineering, and machining. The simplest calipers have two legs to mark the two points and require a ruler to take the measurement. More complex calipers use two sets of jaws instead of legs and have up to two graduated scales. So you think you want to turn big rocks into little rocks eh? Well you're definitely looking at the right machine. This combination rotary hammer / demolition hammer will definely get the job done. It uses Hilti's TE-Y chuck which is what the rest of the world refers to as SDS-Max. There are litterally thousands of bits and accessories for SDS-Max to all your hammer to help you with jobs ranging from masonrey / stone drilling, to light to medium concrete and stone demolition, as will as digging and driving in soil. Of course if you are looking at a top end combination hammer, you know full well their benifits and what their used for.

Some technicals... The TE80 weighs 22.5lbs. That's a lot of heft to swing around all day, so make sure you need this much power. It features a 1700W 380 RPM motor which combined with the hammering piston delivering 11.5J of energy per blow at 2760 blows per minute, this machine will get you thru the densest material quickly. Honestly, there is such a thing a TOO BIG. For jobs that require large holes in cinder block, this machine falls into that category. I've done it but you do run a rink of blowout on the rother side. This machine features a push button to cut to "50% power". It lowers the motor speed to 250RM, I'm not sure if it lowers the amount of hammering energy or not. The forward grip can be positioned 360 degrees to suit any grip style. There is a selector switch on the side for "hammering with rotation", [off while allowing ] "orienation of the chisel", and "hammering only - no rotation". The AVR stands for Active Vibration Reduction. This is very noticeable as the hammering energy isn't trasnfered to your hands. The ATC I hope I won't have to test. It stands for Active Torque Control and it a specialized clutch assembly that prevents the machine from rotating around the bit in the event the bit gets hung up on something rigid like rebar. Obviously with this much power, should that happen, this handheld could in all seriousness dislocate your shoulder or break your arm. So it's the same principle as an airbag. I'm not eger to test it out, but I'm glad it's there. When your chucking remember to apply a little bit of Moly Grease (Molybdenum Disulfide Grease) to the end of the SDS shank so that you don't overheat the action and the bushings inside. Like many high end hammers, this model features an incicator LED when it requires service. "Check Engine" light on a power tool...who'da thunk it...

I've used this machine so far for concrete drilling in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/8", it doesn't even sound different let alone cut slower with the larger bits. I've used an SDS-max ground rod driver to pound rods into even frozen ground. And of course, ever "kid" needs a bull point chisel to test out their new toy. And as expected, it makes a mess and makes on fast. So no matter what you're trade, if you work with stone or at least find it in your way from time to time, I'm sure you'll find a use for a Hilti!

Armstrong Tools - 107 Pc Socket Set in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 Dr Review

I own this set. Impressed with the company I am. Like that it is made in the US o A. However, the three ratchet handles Do require two hands to switch from forward to reverse. This is due to the windmill appearance design and in my opinion, poor internal gears. Unlike a Craftsman ratchet where you "flip" from forward to reverse, these handles you must twist clockwise and counterclockwise. And as mentioned, it takes two hands to do so. One hand must hold the socket head or whatever is attatched, while the other twists the rear to the direction desired. You hear the internal gears turn, and you unsuccessfully turn your direction, if you attempt to do so with only one hand, and without holding the socket head.

In my opinion this set is incomplete. No screwdriver heads, limited allen wrenches. Very Frustrating for the Price in my opinion. Not to mentioned that EVERY time the set is turned Vertical, sockets jump ship and find their way all over the case. So when you open the case, you dont get to work right away, nooooooooooo, you have to sort the jostled sockets for a few minutes then begin your task.

And for $300+ you'd think the sockets themselves would be easy to read, or black etched, engraved etc. Not so. To me, the sockets look all alike in their writing. Was using this set at dusk with a little light left, and I could not distinguish socket sizes. Had to light up sockets to determine size, whereas I believe if they were dark etched, I would not have.

So you be the judge. I do believe this set will last 383 years, past my span of living, but I do have to add additional tools to this set to make it a Basic Get You Through Your Task set. For $300+, I'd expect more.

Product Description

Corning Closet Connector Housing, 4UCorning Cable Systems offers housings with factory installed pigtailed panels to enable splicing within the fiber optic housings. Alternatively, the housings can be mated with separate housings for on-the-rack splicing. Housings are available partially or fully loaded. They are available with a variety of industry-standard connector types and come complete with factory-installed and tested connectorized pigtails. Factory-terminated pigtails are preloaded into panels and splice trays that are preloaded into hardware, decreasing the number of line items on an order and reducing the installation time.

The updated model is improved in many ways over the older one. Internal fiber management is easier with far more cable rings and the flat rings in the front don't get in the way as much.

If you use this product in an enclosure with a front door, make sure you coordinate the depth of the front rail with this patch panel. The front area is very deep and the IBM network rack our contractor originally supplied did not have front rails that adjusted back far enough to leave clearance to close the door. They wound up switching to a Dell rack and it works fine (the Dell is an overall nicer rack, as well).
