LTP6000 Lotos 60 Amps IGBT Pilot Arc Plasma Cutter LTP6000 Review

I chose this model to mainly cut 1/2" steel plate for a home project. The metal I have has some surface rust on it, so I opted for the 60A pilot arc version. I picked up the cutter for under $500 on eBay. It arrived in good condition. When I first took it out of the box there was a small piece of packing Styrofoam inside the air inlet port - I'm glad I noticed it before connecting the air hose to the fitting. The instructions appear to have been translated from Chinese to English by someone that isn't fluent in English. That said, the instructions aren't very helpful, but learning to use the machine isn't that difficult either. I was going thru many consumables at first when using the included metal wire guard on the torch tip. Instead, I fabricated a cutting guide for under $5 that replaces the wire guard and now get more life from the consumables. I've cut around 25 feet so far of 1/2" plate for the project.
