Product Description

This is a trinocular compound microscope that provides both darkfield and brightfield optics. It is designed for professional applications in clinical offices and research laboratories. Its trinocular port comes with both C-mount and 23 mm universal photo mount that enable to add photographic and/or video capability. This microscope comes with a 45 degree inclined 360 degree swiveling trinocular sliding head, 3-D mechanical stage, Intensity-variable halogen illumination system, and darkfield and brightfield condensers. It gives eight level magnifications: 40X-64X-100X-160X-400X-640X-1000X-1600X. This microscope is made by the same technicians and on the same production line as optical instruments for Leica, Zeiss, Nikon and Olympus. It is brand new in factory sealed original box. Its retail value is about $1,700.

AmScope Professional Trinocular Compound Darkfield Microscope 40X-1600X Review

Good quality build for the money. Good image quality, claimed magnification seems correct compared to a Leica system I use at work. You can easily see shape of blood cells. I use at work. X-y stage quality a nice surprise. Solid heavy design, not precise in every way but good where it counts. Is well aligned, good adjust-ability for light. The dark field works very well.

Field of view was not great, but better then I expect at this price. 100x objective is oil type. Wish it were air, or oil/water. I also wish it had a high power LED light,

Shopping, for this microscope I saw many comments concerning Amscope in general, basically saying you should buy a used scope. That this is the "only" way to get a good value in low end scopes. About 10 years ago I agreed, and I bought two as gifts for nieces and nephews. At the time this was great. However this time I could not find any good deals on used scopes (non less than 4x the price with dark field). For around the same price I payed 10 years ago for used scopes, this Amscope is better in some ways, equal in most. I would have preferred to buy used, but did not find half this value. And I did not have to worry about scratched lenses.

Added note: later bought Amscope Canon SLR to c-mount adapter (wth 2x mag) and 23mm 20X eyepieces. These worked as expected in this scope. The canon camera adapter was overpriced, yet much cheaper than alternatives I have found.

If anyone has tried the 25x eyepiece please comment.

I used this elbow support to try to immobilize my elbow to heal a cubital tunnel ulner nerve injury. My symptoms got worse from the compression. An IMAK elbow pillow splint worked better.

I healed a 20 year old case of tennis elbow using an exercise reviewed by the NYT. I used a Thera-Band flexbar with exercises I found at youtube through a NYT article link. Three weeks of flexbar exercises and my tennis elbow was healed. I follow through with the exercises once a week and have not had a recurrence of my "tennis elbow". Good luck!

LTP6000 Lotos 60 Amps IGBT Pilot Arc Plasma Cutter LTP6000 Review

I chose this model to mainly cut 1/2" steel plate for a home project. The metal I have has some surface rust on it, so I opted for the 60A pilot arc version. I picked up the cutter for under $500 on eBay. It arrived in good condition. When I first took it out of the box there was a small piece of packing Styrofoam inside the air inlet port - I'm glad I noticed it before connecting the air hose to the fitting. The instructions appear to have been translated from Chinese to English by someone that isn't fluent in English. That said, the instructions aren't very helpful, but learning to use the machine isn't that difficult either. I was going thru many consumables at first when using the included metal wire guard on the torch tip. Instead, I fabricated a cutting guide for under $5 that replaces the wire guard and now get more life from the consumables. I've cut around 25 feet so far of 1/2" plate for the project. It's getting the job done. You can see a video of me cutting the plate. Just search "LTP6000" in YouTube.
