I've had one of these for 20 years, and it was used when I got it (didn't buy on Amazon obviously). I recently took it in to the lab at work to calibrate it and found that it was still so close it didn't need any adjustment. All waveforms look good, although I haven't tried to measure distortion. Apparently the oscillator makes a triangle wave, which is then shaped to make the sine wave or thresholded to make the square. I've heard reports that the sine or square will sometimes stop working but I've had no trouble at all with mine. HP sure used to make some fine test equipment.

I bought this welder a couple of weeks ago. This is one VERY well made and constructed welder.
It is NOT one of the new electronic square wave type of things that weigh nothing, and are subject to failure so easily. This a transformer based unit and it weighs accordingly. (You can also save a couple hundred bucks on the unit by purchacing it from [...] which also gives you fast immediate drop ship (for free) direct from Lincoln's own warehouse. I got mine in 2 days by truck from Seattle on the West Coast. There is also their main factory from the East of the Mississippi.) Lincoln has long been known for good, solid, serious quality, long lasting welders for over 50 years! This is no exception.

It does NOT have all the electronic controls of the Dynasty 200 from Miller, but it does not have the huge liability of the myriad of electronics to fail either! Read that as long term reliability! To me, that is much more of an important feature than smaller diddly things that can be tweeked by extra non-critical function electronics. It is a LOT less money without all the extra junk. It has an excellent easy to use pulse weld, and the solidly built-in, 3 way, polarity selector makes things a bit faster and easier to use! If you have used one without that feature, always having to switch your leads around, then you WILL very much appreciate having this Lincoln, Made in the USA, machine that offers so much!

It has all the elctronics needed to do a great job, it gives you a LOT of variability,..... adding versatility for welding all types of materials from Aluminum to Stainless Steel. It comes with an excellent quality torch, regulator, foot control unit, and other listed accessories. There was not one thing that smacked of chincy, junky, or corner cutting on anything! I could not have been happier. They even included a surface mount 50 amp receptacle box for the correct matching plug on the machine: requires that you use a good single phase 230 VAC power source(It uses a very commonly used plug style that you may already have.). Lincoln offers good support as does TigDepot..... which has a LOT of free training videos posted on uTube for ease of use. I chose to make my own base and did not buy the K2535-2 kit with it. I am pleased with the outcome and the use is a lot of fun. Now that I have it, knowing what I do first hand, if I had the choice I would certainly buy it again. Do Enjoy!

I've been using this helmet in an industrial maint. setting for about a year now, and it is holding up pretty well.
The Lens features sealed push buttons and LCD displays for each setting, features 3 modes Welding (shade 9-13) Cutting (shade 3-6) and a Grinding mode (fixed #2) the lens color is amber which highlites the puddle well.
The only complaint i would have with the lens is the weight.
The helmet features a nice finish and the shell material is very forgiving and flexible, The headgear is comfortable, however not very durable, i think i replaced that about 2 mo. after i purchased it, and at the moment have the second one doctored up to keep it going as it's worn out as well.

1/2" Super Duty Impact Wrench Review

I really like this gun, I love the power it has. It zips off lugnuts like their nothing. I like the adjustable forward speed. I was just misled by the fact that it doesnt have adjustable reverse, maybe i just didnt read it right or something. Basically it goes from 50lbs to 450lbs in forward drive. But in reverse you cant adjust the lbs, its just wide open 625ftlbs. So if you have a smaller bolt or nut you dont want to round off, it doesnt work so well. My dads older chicago pneumatic is adjustable no matter what so i thought this one was. Oh well I fixed it anyway by getting an adjustable regulator and some hose, I can attach it to it and adjust the air pressure down so the ft lbs is not as high. Thanks for the great product.

Moen TS418NL-9000 Waterhill Two-Handle High Arc Bathroom Faucet with Valve, Nickel Review

One of the most beautiful faucets I've ever seen in person. It has a very old world classic style to it. By that, I mean this is the kind of faucet you would find in elegant homes back in the first half of the 1900's. Nothing cheap about this faucet, in more ways than one. This is heavy duty all the way with an emphasis on heavy! I love these old style faucets, like this Moen, where there are seperate handles for hot and cold and both are labeled clearly. Very easy to turn and no squeaky noises when doing so. I haven't owned this unit that long, but I suspect this will last a very long time and will still look beautiful many years from now. Yes, it's very expensive for a faucet, at least for me. But you know the old saying of you get what you..... well, you've heard it dozens of times before.

Let me put it this way: If you have the extra money and need a faucet, then this one of the bad boys you should consider. Plus look at the value in the long run. It's only going to increase the value of your home. No worries about having to call a butt-crack plumber to install this. I've installed a grand total of three faucets in my life and I gotta say this one was quite easy to install compared to two of the other three. Easy to follow instructions is always a good thing! Moen's motto is true blue, because when you buy this model(and probably most any one of their others) you'll be buying it for looks and buying it for life. This is a classic. This is a beauty. Buy it if you have the money to spare. People are gonna think you're rich! .... even if you aren't.... I only deduct a star because of the crazy high price.... btw, I really love the arc of this faucet.... it just looks so elegant!!!
