The Tournus PLH1192R commercial anodized aluminum shelving unit is a standing four-shelf food service rack unit with an anodized aluminum square tubing frame that is compatible with GN 1/1 sized hotel pans and has removable polypropylene shelves supporting a 330 lb/150 kg per shelf capacity and a 1,320 lb/600 kg total capacity when the weight is distributed evenly across all shelves. It comes with four 125 mm plastic swivel casters (two locking, two non-locking) for maneuverability. The polypropylene shelves can be removed from the frame and machine washed at up to 194 degrees F/ 90 degrees C. They hang over the top part of the horizontal shelf bar, providing a labeling tab, which is writeable with a dry erase marker (included), to help manage food stocks. The horizontal shelf bars lock into protruding rivets on the corner posts for secure and bolt-free attachment at eleven possible positions, enabling custom shelf heights. Catering industry standard Gastronorm (GN) 1/1 sized hotel pans fit between the shelf bars, providing integration with typical food service workflow. Corner posts are 30 x 32 mm aluminum square tubing with threaded adjustable levelers for use on uneven surfaces. The aluminum frame is anodized for corrosion resistance. This unit is open on all four sides to facilitate access to shelf contents from any angle.

Grizzly H5387 Single-Phase Motor, 3 HP Review

My Grizzly 1023 cabinet saw is nearly 15 years old but has never let me down. I inadvertently burned up the original motor after disassembing the saw for storage and re-assembling several years later. Somehow during re-assembly, the blade was able to be raised high enough to cause the motor shaft to come in contact with the internal height adjustment shaft. Never had that happen in the first 9 years that I owned the saw so not sure how it occurred after re-assembly. Unfortunately, that contact caused considerable friction force on the motor and it burned out within seconds causing a geat deal of smoke and tripping the internal beaker on the switch.

While you can obtain 3hp motors for less money than this one, finding the specific mounting brackets pre-welded to the correct location would be nearly impossible so this replacement motor is necessary unless you're a metal fabricator and master welder. The original motor was very powerfulI and never even broke a sweat when ripping through the hardest of hardwoods or wet PT lumber. The replacement's working great so far and I expect that with my custom made stop preventing future fatal contact between motor and adjustment shaft - this motor will give me the same performance as the original for many years to come.

Did want to mention that while my motor was received in good shape, the packaging was very poor and not suited to the task of protecting a 75 lb. electrical component. Box was badly dented/torn and the very thin styrofoam material inside was destroyed ( I took pictures in the event the motor was inoperative) Fortunatley, after wiring the motor it worked fine so didn't need to file a claim- but the packaging on an item of this weight should be far more substantial.

Starrett products have always treated me well. The only complaint I have is that the fine adjustment mechanism is less than perfect. The indicator it can rock left and right, when turning the bezel, setting parts under the contacts and so on. When using a fine discrimination indicator can alter the reading by some tenths. This is relatively small, certainly; but it is not desirable and there is no way provided by the manufacturer to remove that slack, or snug the fine adjustment into one position.

got this to replace my old coralife light. I was sick of replacing bulbs all the time & faulty electrical problems with that light.
I've had it about a year now & it's been great. This one has been a great upgrade for my tank..my corals have been happy (mushrooms, zoos, candy cane coral) & are growing. The light is slim & sits right on top of my 55 gallon setup. It doesnt put off too much heat.
The one downside was about 6 months after purchase, the ballast on it broke one day when I turned it on. I contacted the company & they sent me a new one right out.

I'm really pleased with this light so far (installed about 2 months ago). A few observations:

1) The LED lights look like two 2" * 3" flat circuit boards with numerous small LED lights mounted. They're nothing like a conventional light bulb ... more like two big lighted postage stamps ... very neat.

2) There is a slight delay (fraction of a second) between when you turn the light switch 'on' and the light actually comes on.

3) The glass shade is surprisingly heavy. The interior is frosted opaque, so there's good light dispersion from the LED pads. If you look at the light while it's on, the two LED pads appear as two lighted areas, very similar to what conventional lightbulbs would look like in the same spot.

4) Specs claim light puts out 600 lumens @ 2700k. I would guess that the light output is comparable to a 60W bulb ... but this is just a qualitative 'guesstimate' on my part.

5) I've installed this in a small bedroom that we've converted to an office, so I can't comment on how this light works in wet environments (one of it's selling features).

Rigol DS1204B 200MHz DSO 4-channel Review

I looked at a lot of different scopes but finally settled on the Rigol DS1204B based on a 4 channel requirement.

The package arrived in pretty good shape considering the distance in travel from China, and unboxing was a relatively uneventful process.

However, after getting everything setup and plugged in on the kitchen counter, a few things became readily apparent:

1) There is no easily accessible receptacle to put the fruit or vegetables into, in fact as of this review I have not discovered a way to feed it fruit and vegetables for juicing which is a show stopper for me.

2) Assuming that I can eventually figure out a way that the manufacturers envisioned juicing with this thing, it appears that the DS1204B is not a friendly device to take apart and clean which pretty much eliminates putting it into the dishwasher.

3) The device ships with four separate "probes", which are of no use to the juicing process unless I am missing something.

4) Although pretty, the front panel LCD is not waterproof which will eventually lead to problems.

All in all, the DS1204B seems like a good value for the money, especially if I can figure out the location of the four channels to put fruit and vegetables into.
