Made of metal -- just FINE for a home office or a small commercial office -- does what it was made for.

The finish is nice, the drawers glide in and out, and as for unwanted flex (which would denote thin metal and poor quality) there is not very much flex at all. These drawers are rigid, and this means longevity.

I use standard manila file folders -- not hanging file folders, as I find the regular manila folders easier to deal with -- I can fit a good deal of files in this file cabinet.

The drawers are deep - not like the cheaper file cabinets with abbreviated depth -- and the four drawers provide plenty of storage.

In order to prevent unwanted surprises, always load the bottom shelf first and work your way up, so the file cabinet does not topple over -- this is just standard and safe procedure and does not bear on the quality of this product.
