This is a pyrex glass funnel, 3 and 1/4 inches tall, and 4 and 3/8 inches wide (total width, or 3 and 7/8 inches inside width). The description may have included the fact that the opening at the bottom of the funnel is only 1/4 inch wide, but I don't remember seeing that number. I wanted the funnel for pouring coffee (hot coffee with milk added) into thermos bottles with mouths of various sizes. The smooth, graduated glass accomplishes this well, and the liquid goes through the 1/4 inch opening quickly enough. The overall value of using glass instead of a plastic funnel, or even a stainless steel funnel, is much better coffee taste.
