i go this scale because i needed a very accurate, legal for trade scale for my food co-op. this fit the bill, and i bought it despite the nearly $300 price tag. i only wish it went higher than just 15 lbs so i could weigh full 50 lbs cases of produce etc... but it's easy to use, accurate, well designed and very light weight/portable, which is important for my purposes. i have not integrated it with a computer, however, so i do not know how well it works with that kind of set up.
