Warning!

There is less than 1" working distance when using at the highest magnification (180x). Because of this it is impossible to use the 144-LED light at this magnification. This combination should not be sold together.

The only way to get 8" working distance with this setup is by using the 0.5x barlow reducing the maximum magnification range to 7x-45x (0.7x-4.5x objective x 20x eyepiece x 0.5x barlow).

A better setup for 180x would be a 0.7x-9.0x objective with 20x eyepiece and no barlow. This will give a range of 14x-180x with a working distance of 4".

The company was very friendly, confirmed all this information, and admitted their error. However the ad remains unchanged.
