Probably not Amazon's fault, but almost $500 for this chain is pretty out of line.
I originally bought the tool new with two chains for $1300. The chain is no more difficult to produce or sharpen than a saw chain. What the heck?
A decent machinist could crank these out and make good money at $100. True the demand may not be great but there are enough framers out there to provide a market for one machinist.
