Mixer includes built-in check valves. with all electronics and batteries housed above the counter, maintenance of the S-9122 is simple and can be performed in minimal time. The faucet is equipped with a solenoid with a built-in filter and a 60-second time out feature to prevent floods. The S-9122 uses two (2) 3-volt lithium batteries and features a low battery warning light which indicates when 10-Percent life remains. Installed on a utility sink for a customer who purchased the faucet on my recommendation. The sink was deep which made for a difficult install. Faucet looks nice and has clean lines. Seems to be well built, it does have some plastic parts. The sensor does not work very well, it is very temperamental. The faucet will not turn on sometimes or it will turn on and off rapidly while washing hands. I will be contacting Speakman to see about resolving that issue.
