No gas is required, but is MIG ready using optional hose/regulator kit. 5 heat settings for precise adjustment to the thickness of your metal. The plug-in Professional cold torch with trigger activated arc allows precise weld placement and the quick-connect adapter makes it easy to replace. 125 Amp maximum output allows for weld sizes 18-gauge to 3/16-Inch. Wire speed tracking maintains continuous wire flow by compensating for movement. Thermal overload protection automatically shuts off to avoid overheating. Great for repairs, projects, metal fabrication, and light production. Includes two extra contact tips and flux-core wire.

I purchased this welder a few months ago and finally got it set up and operational. This welder is awesome. It has several heat settings and I welded thin tubing all the way up to 1/8" thick metal. It takes a while to get the heat and the wire speed down but does a great job. I also use a stick welder but purchased this one to do light tubing, building recumbent bicycles and I love the ease of use and the way you can set the heat down so you do not burn through. Not easy to do with a stick welder. Definitely worth the money.
