The quality of Quiet Time ear plugs had obviously gone way down, and I noticed that the noise reduction rating had been lowered from 33 to 31 decibels. I e-mailed the company to complain, and they suggested I return the poor-quality earplugs for a refund. They also said that they were going back to their old supplier, and they sent me some of the good-old 33-decibel ear plugs at no charge. Pretty good customer service. I'm editing this rating, and I would now add more stars to it if I could.

Whether working in a warehouse or out making deliveries in a big delivery truck, this is the pallet jack that makes easy work of those extra heavy pallets full of Gatorade or iced-down broccoli. It has the heft needed to spin those heavily loaded pallets around in tight places whether moving them to the tailboard for unloading or for setting them into position inside the warehouse.
I didn't buy this pallet jack, but the company I work for did, and with several other cheaper ones available, this is the one everyone wants to use for the ease in which it shuffles the heavy loads around. There are a couple of extras on this pallet jack that won't be found on the others at half or one-third the price of this one:
1. It has Zerk fittings at all the grease points making maintenance quick and easy using a grease gun.
2. The handle has a limited downward thrust so when necessary to lift the front of the jack, you won't have to stoop to the ground just to raise it over some boards or up onto an elevated deck or tailboard that sits a little above or away from the dock.

The AEMC 405 digital clamp-meter is a true RMS sensing, auto-ranging multimeter for measuring current, voltage, frequency, resistance, and power in electrical testing applications. It has a clamp that measures AC (alternating current) to 1,000A (amperes) and DC (direct current) to 1,500A. The clamp has two jaws that can close around an electrical conductor up to 48mm (1.89 inches) in diameter to measure current without touching or interrupting the circuit. A set of test leads, which are silicone-insulated for flexibility and resistance to heat and cold, is included for measuring AC and voltage to 1,000(V, voltage frequency to 20kHz (kilohertz), and resistance to 100kΩ (kilohms). Frequency can also be measured with the clamp. For power monitoring and analysis, the meter detects phase rotation, measures THD (total harmonic distortion) which can degrade the quality of the power being supplied by the system, calculates power factor to determine how efficiently an installation uses power, and measures single- and three phase real power to 1,500kW (kilowatts), reactive power to 1,500 kilovar (kilovolt-ampere reactive), and apparent power to 1,500kVA (kilovolt-ampere).

The meter has a rotary switch to select the property to measure, and a 10,000-count LCD with a backlight for visibility in low light that turns off automatically after two minutes. The inrush current function, with a selectable sampling time of 1ms (millisecond) or 100ms, analyzes surge current at startup and due to load increases in installations that are up and running. To maintain accurate measurements, the DC amp zero function removes residual readings caused by magnetization from high amplitude current measurements. The maximum/minimum function tracks the highest and lowest readings for a property for as long as the function is engaged. To aid documentation of readings and capture readings in tight spaces, the data hold function keeps the most recent reading on the display after disconnecting from the circuit. A continuity buzzer confirms that the circuit conducts electricity, and a diode check detects whether a circuit's diodes are working properly. The unit operates on four 1.5V AAA batteries, and turns off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life. It has a low-battery indicator that signals when the battery needs to be replaced.

This true RMS (root mean square) sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads, regardless of the waveform. It is auto-ranging, so it automatically selects the appropriate operating range for the property being measured. Accuracy and resolution specifications vary according to the range being measured. The meter meets IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) safety standard 61010, and is rated for CAT (category) IV installations to 1,000V, which covers equipment at the origin of the installation, such as electricity meters and primary over-current protection equipment. I bought this wrench to break loose the oil plugs on Cat engines. They are always really tight and I was tired of using breaker bars and cheater pipes. I have used a pork chop (bud lug wrench) as a striking wrench in this application, and it worked ok sometimes, but it was not ideal for the job. This Williams wrench is much better. The edges are milled flat, so you get maximum contact with the bolt head. The twelve point end allows you to position it for easy striking. I just hit it two or three times with a three pound hammer, and the plug is loose. So easy.

I've been using this product to crush metal oxide doped-YSZ materials. While crushing of these materials with this mortar and pestle is a breeze (much easier than with an agate stone set), the metal oxides seem to be able to leech into the product. I have used HCl to help dissolve the metal oxides, but there is still some at the bottom of the mortar. A similar product from NETZSCH instruments doesn't have this problem - the HCl will dissolve all of the metal oxides. That product is also 3 times more expensive. But, all in all, this is a great set and you can't beat this price.
